The Archdiocese of Philadelphia administers the Sacrament of Confirmation in the 7th or 8th Grade. If your 7th grade child attends Our Lady of Mercy, Gwynedd Mercy Academy, Ancillae-Assumpta Academy or other private Catholic school, you child will receive their catechesis in school, but participate in parish preparation activities at St. Anthony.  If you have a 7th or older child who is not confirmed and needs formation for the sacraments, please contact me.

Saint Anthony’s next confirmation will take place in the Fall of 2024.

  • Confirmation is not the “graduation” or the end of faith formation.
  • Confirmation brings an increase and deepening of baptismal grace.
  • It increases the gifts of the Holy Spirit in us.
  • It renders our bond with the Church more perfect.
  • It gives us a special strength of the Holy Spirit to spread and defend the faith by word and action as true witnesses of Christ, to confess the name of Christ boldly, and never to be ashamed of the Cross”. (CCC 1285, 1303)

Our parish community comes together to build relationship and encourage each other to be “a New Generation of Disciples.”

This year we will be participating in many Faith and social activities some led by CFF others by various parish ministries. They can all be found on the 2024-2025 Calendar.

We need you to help bring the CFF driven projects to life!
